Ravelry Internationl Moleskine Exchange, round 3

Ooh how exciting! Round three has just begun! I've been busying myself, working on getting my Moleskine ready to post out into the world!
My group includes 1 Australian (me), 1 Norwegian, 1 German, 1 Canadian and 5 Americans (each in different states)!
This time around I've made some little stitch markers as gifts for each member:
They're all different so hopefully each person will find one that suits their personality, and there's also a couple too many so that the last person doesn't have their choice made for them by the rest of the group!
I'm using the journal I was given in another swap, it's a gorgeous red one, and I've stamped the cover (using 'stazon' ink) - and I'm so pleased with the result!!:

I've also added two ribbons to the place marker after finding a cool tutorial on you tube!
So exciting!!

A Fairy Sleepover - Ada style...

So this was a couple of weeks ago, but I just found these piccies on the camera.
Ada (my niece) loves her "aunty-girls" and loves sleepovers, so after asking and asking, we finally made a date for a 'fairy sleepover'.
Sleepovers with Ada usually involve: some sort of craft activity, a movie, cooking something mummy doesn't usually make for dinner (like pancakes with icecream), playing and colouring in and lots of laughs!
This one was special though, as it had a fairy theme - so there was fairy crafts, fairy bread (which apparently wasn't edible because the sprinkles weren't the right shape?) and fairy outfits!
I bought Nanny McPhee home (the dvd not the nanny) and we snuggled on the beanbag and ate popcorn while we watched it then Ada and I made pancake mixture and I cooked them while she set the table - "Aunty Lucy and Aunty Bec, do you want the forks and spoons the normal way or my special way?" "Definately the special way please!" -
And lots of messy icecream hands and faces and giggles followed!

Hmm...

...Why have a blog when you have nothing to say?
Maybe I'll post some piccies...Two years ago today, we welcomed my beautiful niece Ruby Isabella into the world! Two years seems like forever, and at the same time not very long at all!
Happy Birthday Gorgeous Girl xx
